Several years ago, ice storms damaged thousands of trees in the Greene County area of southwest Missouri.  We chose to use the wood from the fallen trees (all within an 80 mile radius of the library) to create furniture and art elements for this branch. Two wall sculptures greet library patrons upon entering the building, and there are custom designed side, conference, and coffee tables throughout the building that were built using the rescued wood. They add character to the design and add a beautiful green story to the space.

We were thrilled when this project was named Best Commercial Space by 417 Magazine in their 2010 Interior Design Awards publication.
