York Place Skilled Nursing & Rehab at Saint Luke's Bishop Spencer Place in Kansas City wanted to reinforce their brand as the premiere place for short-term rehabilitation and long-term comprehensive medical care.  They asked our team to create a new design that would make residents feel at home and well cared for.

To do this, we selected finishes that are both durable and luxurious. The remodeled resident rooms include new, smart solutions to empower residents. Some of these include:

• Mirrors that tilt to accommodate all heights of residents, as well as those in wheelchairs. 

• New residential style finishes that still offer the durability and cleanability required for a demanding healthcare setting.

• New lighting throughout the room, including lights located behind the headboard on a dimmer that provides the perfect atmosphere for reading or catching up with family.

• USB ports incorporated into the base of the lamps, providing all residents and families easier access to charging outlets.
